Community Access Care provides a range of community-based services and support programs. Through community participation and the development of independent living skills, the support services they provide help Participants live their best lives.

Our after-school program is a great way for Participants to have fun while building friendships and developing their social skills. With services such as afternoon tea and a wide range of activities to give Participants a variety of choices, there is something for everyone! This program allows participants to socialise while improving their motor skills in a fun, inclusive and fully-supervised environment.

1. Is there any transportation provided to and from the program? 

Yes, there is! By joining our after-school program, we provide school pick-ups from 2:30 pm, and we also drop Participants home in the afternoon. 2. What are the hours of the program, and what days is it available?  

Our after-school care program runs from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm Monday – Friday and 9:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturdays. This includes school pick up and dropping Participants home. If you’re thinking about booking your child in, please call us today on 1300 522 103 or email [email protected].

3. What activities are offered in the program? 

Our after-school program activities range from cooking, fitness classes, local excursions in the community and beach days . Let us give you a rundown of what activities you can expect each day:

Monday

On Mondays, we like to explore the local community! From afternoon tea in the park to playing and feeding the ducks, it’s a fun afternoon for everyone.

Tuesday

On Tuesdays, we are all about fitness! Come and join us for a RAW Awakening Kids Fitness class in the Hub.

Wednesday

Calling all of our gamers, board game experts and bookworms, this is the day for you! We will be heading to the Bundaberg Regional Library for the afternoon where kids can choose between joining our gamers group, play board games or reading a book.

Thursday

On Thursdays, we are heading back to the local library, where kids will have a choice to join our coding group or chess club.

Friday

Come and cook up a storm! From mini pizzas, banana muffins, sausage rolls, choc chip cookies, there’s something for everyone. 

Saturday

Weekends are for beach days! On Saturdays, we head to the local beaches, where kids will get to play in the park and swim in the ocean.
